Personal Statement (BHSAD) примите меня на следущий курс!)))
My favorite occupation in and out of school is drawing. I enjoy using different kinds of media. Watching films, attending exhibitions, reading some interesting books… All these things influence me great. Doing anything from this list is a goof way to get inspiration or to improve bad mood. I also take up sport activities from time to time and really enjoy it. My favorites are running, swimming, lawn tennis and gymnastics.
It is difficult to name artists and designers whose work I admire, because there are too much of them. But I can give as an example the latest name I found out for myself. Chantal Joffe is a great painter from Britain. I hate her little bit because for a moment I thought that after her there is noting to do for me.. In spite of it I'm really happy that I had an opportunity to face up with Joffe's works. And another painter and teacher from art school, the friend of Chantal Joffe, said that my works would have much in common with hers. For me of course it was subtle flattery.
My work at BHSAD was influenced by practice (teaching practice) of two people only. Victor Melamed and Irina Troitskaia. Victor advised me to draw everything and always and made me be sure that I can. Irina showed on practice that everything is easier than it can look like. Their critics are as pleasant to hear as praise because it keeps me in tone. And the other one is Maxim Nesterenko! I enjoy his lections. He opened lots of great figures from art world for me. I would never come to the aim/dream to become a painter on my own.
I want to study at BHSAD during the next year.
